About Owlumi

Owlumi is an independent product operated by Alvaro Lorente. It is being built as a calm, parent-guided storytelling experience for families with children aged 4–10.

The product has a narrow purpose: help a parent and child turn a small idea into a bedtime story they enjoy together. It is not intended to replace reading, a caregiver, or a child’s offline imagination.

The product principles​

• Parents stay involved. Owlumi is designed for a shared family moment, not independent child use.
• Stories end. A bedtime story should have a natural conclusion instead of an infinite feed or open-ended conversation.
• No ads in the bedtime experience. The product is not built around advertising to children.
• Clear boundaries. Owlumi should not present itself as human, ask children to keep secrets, or pressure them to continue.

Beta status and feedback​

Owlumi is currently in beta. Product screens, policies, and controls will evolve as the beta is tested with families. We will be clear about what is available now and what is still being developed.
